ISV Radio Network stands for In Summa Vigilia. In Summa Vigilia is a movement that translates to "wide awake" in Latin.

We need to be awake in all aspects of life:

World views

People will judge you no matter what you do. That is a fact of life and always will be.

Have you ever thought of the President of the United States and the vast number of decisions he has to make everyday? I read that as a result of this dilemma, he has chosen to adopt a minimalist wardrobe because he does not want to waste unnecessary energy on mindless decisions. And out of those many decisions people will judge and criticize every one of them. If President Obama decided to care about everyones opinion, no decision would ever be made.

That's the case with myself as well. For many years I would base a lot of decisions on the opinions of others and how they would judge me as a result of those choices. That is not a healthy way to live or make decisions. You might say, "Well duh, Jaime. We all know that already!" But I encourage you to really look at your life and ask yourself, "Am I really living/building a life on how I want it to be, or is some of it based on what others expect of me?" This thinking can influence the school you attend, what career you have, who you are dating, and even who you are going to marry.....yikes!

This life is yours, and yours alone! So live it how you envisioned it.

There will always be people who judge every detail about you and what you are doing, so just live your life anyways. There is a famous mexican rock en espanol song, Me Vale by Mana, that has lyrics I love, "Si yo no le hago dano a nadie, quien eres tu para decirme como vivir? QUIEN ERES TU??" This translates to, "If I am not harming anyone, who are you to tell me how to live my life?"

So create the life you want, do what you love, say hello to the haters, let them judge, be happy doing what you were meant to do on this Earth, and find happinness!  In the end, thats all that matters.
